Our gala may have gone virtual again, but homeless animals need us now more than ever. This year we have a goal of raising $100,000 for The Safe House, our Kentucky rescue property we've recently started renovating. We need to turn the existing barn into an animal holding ward-- a safe, sanitary space away from the elements that they can lay their heads until their long journey up north.

With a completed holding ward, we will be able to alleviate some of the burdens our partner shelters experience. They often overcrowded, understaffed and underfunded, leading to an incredible amount of stress on both humans and animals. Safe Hands will be able to accept animals into this ward right away... no waiting. Often just a few hours can mean the difference between life and death for companion animals in this region as they frequently come to us starving, sick, freezing or overheated, or sometimes just hours before giving birth or hours after being born.

Please join the fight for animal welfare with your gift today.
