I volunteer for a dog rescue called Safe Hands Animal Rescue. While you're probably aware of that, you may not know that Safe Hands isn't a shelter. Or that Safe Hands doesn't actually have its own dedicated building. And yet, we are able to rescue hundreds of dogs a year. 

We would like to raise that number. A lot. And that's where you come in. Well, you, and a dedicated Safe Hands facility, that is. We're looking to turn dollars into walls.

This is a fundraising page, so I already appreciate that you're taking the time to visit. If you're able and willing, please chip in! Your donation doesn't have to be a lot. Even a little can save a life.

The 2nd Annual Fur Ball Gala will be held at Radisson Blu Mall of America on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Guests will enjoy an elegant “Night to Remember” which will include Appetizers, Dinner and Dessert, a Champagne Toast, Silent and Live Auctions, Celebrity and Puppy Meet and Greet, and Live Entertainment. All proceeds go to Safe Hands Rescue.

Our goal for this event is to raise additional money for a facility here in Minneapolis that will provide the room and opportunity for us to expand our life-saving work. With a bigger space, we can increase our intake of rescued animals, take on more medical cases, host more adoptable pet Meet & Greet events, and provide training for people and pets. Phase II of our fundraising efforts will be geared toward building a “Kentucky Rescue Ranch” in the area where it’s needed most, which will enable us to save even more lives.
